The Cottage
The cottage we propose you for rent is a traditional Brittany house, with a slate roof built on top of large stone walls which protect against excessive heat in summer, and rigors of cold in winter. The house has been completely renovated. It is well equipped and offers all the comforts of modern homes.
The house is located in the center of the village of Theix. It is served by a quiet, uncrowded and one-way street. Free parking spaces are located in its immediate vicinity, or in the adjacent streets. Food shops (bakeries, grocery store, butcher, takeaway, newspapers) are directly accessible on foot. Every Sunday, local producers sell their regional products on the market located at the foot of the church, a hundred meters from the house.

Who am I?
Who am I?
My name is Jean-Pierre, I am the owner of the cottage. I travel very often and mainly for professional reasons. When I am absent, I am assisted in the management of the gîte by Titouan. I have visited many countries over the past twenty-five years, but when it comes to vacations, I enjoy spending time in my area and entertaining my guests there. There are many things to do here, between land and sea.

The cottage is rated Four Stars by Atout France. It can accommodate up to four travelers. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Animals are not allowed there. Smoking and parties are prohibited. If you need more space, do not hesitate to consult Kaouenneg Cottage information page which can accommodate up to eight travelers.

Kaouenneg is an old Breton farmhouse, that once depended on the castle of Plessis-Josso. The cottage is located in the countryside, in a small village of five houses.

From the town of Theix-Noyalo, ideally located in the regional natural park of the Gulf of Morbihan, and well served by the main access roads, you will easily reach the beaches of the Gulf and the Atlantic, as well as the main tourist sites of Morbihan.
Starting from the village, many paths lead to sites of natural and heritage interest, such as chapels, the village of Gorvello, the manor of Plessis-Josso, the park of Brural, the tide mill of Noyalo...
